I did the stealth sub and sound treatment in my 2023. It was amazing! Then replaced the door speakers with some Focal plug and play. Now on my 24 I just ordered their JL stealth package and can’t wait to get it in Feb or March. Wait time sucks, but it’s worth the wait!

Yes, surprisingly still terrible at estimating lead times.

I've had a good experience with @SoundsGoodStereo I personally don't mind waiting for something when I know the finished product will be worth the wait. When I ordered my door speakers, it took a couple of weeks more than anticipated but well worth it. I will definitely use them again without a doubt.

Hell it usually takes me 4 months to get a custom sub enclosure from my guy. The wait is usually worth it.

We appreciate the support and your patience :)

Yes, surprisingly still terrible at estimating lead times.

Estimating exact completion times can be challenging, as each package varies significantly in complexity. For example, a $20K package might require 16 hours of work, while a $3K package may only take 3 hours. With over 50 packages in progress at any given moment, providing precise timelines on the spot is difficult. We are currently refining our communication to help clients understand the reasons behind these wait times. If an immediate turnaround is your top priority, a high-end shop like ours may not be the best fit—much like expecting a gourmet meal to be served instantly, or securing a coveted luxury item with no wait.

To provide some context, we’ve consulted several of our colleagues who run some of the most renowned shops in the country. Their lead times for new vehicles range from 3 to 8 months, and not one of them has reported a lead time under 3 months. In comparison, smaller local retail establishments often have shorter lead times of around 4 to 14 days, but their products and outcomes differ significantly from ours.

Although we acknowledge the long wait can be challenging, we believe the end result justifies the patience. We are always open to suggestions—perhaps introducing a VIP program with additional benefits could enhance the overall experience.

Oh I'm not arguing that you shouldn't wait for quality products. I'm just saying from a customer sat perspective it seems like you would just put up a comment like "Standard lead time is 8-12 weeks depending on order volume, but we'll do our best to fulfill sooner" and remove the "1-10 DAY SHIPPING on Custom Fabricated Parts/Products" comment on the FAQ page. Not arguing the excellence of your solutions and I still have an open order with you guys. Just my experience from a different but similar B2B service perspective.

We wish our manufacturing system could generate lead times for each individual product and variation. For instance, consider our behind-the-seat enclosure with a loaded amp rack—it comes in 12 different variations. Of those, 2 could ship within 5 days, 7 of them will take 5 weeks, and the remaining 3 could require up to 12 weeks. Multiply that complexity by the 2,485 SKUs we produce in-house, and you can imagine the challenge.

Ultimately, we must find a balance. One option we’ve considered is raising prices on packages under $10K to slow sales while maintaining our margins, which could help improve overall shipping times. This isn’t our ideal solution, and we don’t want to penalize all of our customers due to a small number of impatient buyers. However, it remains one possibility on the table.

Agree to disagree on possible solutions. But appreciate the dialog. Great products.

Sounds like you need to expand. You have the buyers. More people, bigger building, more supply, process improvements possibly. Like I mentioned the amount of work that goes into my sub enclosures takes a good while Next Level Fabrications is ONE PERSON. He tried to hire but it never seems to work out. He needs to expand or like you said raise the price to cut down buyers but that isn't the issue. Enclosure was $1700+ already not counting the 2k subs.
