Anyone have stress cracks or cracks in the windshield? Have 2020 started noticing past week. Safelight replacing with oem

My windshield has about 10 cracks and chips. Pointless to replace it.

I had a small rock chip that while in Vail with -7 degree morning turned into a side to side crack. I pinged Safelite and while their windshield cost was reasonable (650), they wanted $400 additional for the recalibration (which I can do with Forscan). They wouldn't just do the windshield. Called local Ford and they gave me who they use for their loaners. $650 out the door, free programming. much better.

Ky has free replacement with rock chips. But the stress cracks are interesting because it’s outlined in the warranty on ford pass.

Here is what they found between the glass and the truck.
Took me a while to convince them it was cracked from the inside but Ford replaced it and left that piece of metal on the dash for me.
I can't believe how much yours and mine look.
