Sound deadening in the doors.

Thanks. How easy is it to remove the door panels without creating more rattles than are already in these doors.

are you coming to texas in september? i will be doing a tear down demo and will be showing how to remove the door panels.

I did sound deadening inside my doors and I'm not sure I'm happy. I did it just because I was upgrading the sound system. The Raptor door skins flop around a lot when you slam the door closed and with the extra mass of the sound deadening the really flop around. I put a piece maybe 18" tall and the width of each door on the outer skin, and I covered most of the inner frame of the door.

I'm not sure it made any difference in the sound as I only listen when driving and there is so much background noise that how could I tell???

from testing, the biggest impact is the floor o the truck. the stuff in the door helps, but you may need more. i will be in phoenix before trr and can show you what i have done. also take a ride in my truck to compare the two.
