Some pictures and info from this weekend

Ford had a display set up at Road Atlanta for the Petit LeMans race. Stopped by and wanted to ask a few questions and look the truck over. Guys pointed out a your lady who was the product specialist. So, off I went.

First question....may I sit in the truck....nope.
2nd question...may I hear the truck run....nope.
3rd question...are the stickers on the truck the ones that are on the production vehicle? She didn't know.
4th question...do you know the horsepower? YES! 450 hp, and 510 tq.

So, off to the dealer I went to take off the $2100 sticker package, because in my opinion, they looked ugly and cheap. The truck looks mean as hell in person!!!

I gotta say, the white Gen2 looks pretty good. And I concur, the new graphics package is pretty weak. The hood graphics really make the front profile look much better. I bet that Josh will step up with some good looking stuff......

I think that's Avalanche Gray. Look at the pic of it in the sun compared to the white flooring.

It is AG...not the Oxford white.

To each their own I guess...I don't like it in person. No personality with it.

I ordered a white one and I am thinking of changing to blue for that very reason.

I'm going the opposite direction when it arrives, no applique and debadge the tailgate. There is no mistaking this truck for anything but a Raptor.

They force us in Canada to take the appliqué with one of the packages. It isn't an independent option or mine wouldn't have it, sucks as I can't just rip it off cause the tailgate under will be full of holes

Agreed. I'm a Chevrolet car person...read that as I love my Corvettes, and the 69 Camaro, but Ford by far has the best trucks on the road. They just sit better, drive better, and look better. The Raptor is just bad ass!

I was torn on color. I originally ordered my truck in magnetic but then found some pictures of a Magnetic Raptor and didn't like how everything seemed monotone. So I decided to change my color. I struggled between the blue and avalanche. I ended up deciding on the Avalanche.
