I’ll be honest here, I spend three hours cleaning my truck and I use tire shine that’s why in my off-road pictures my tires are straight brown from the dirt sticking, I’ve never owned a vehicle that I get pleasure from cleaning and then getting it so dirty afterwards, call me crazy

I'm surprised you still keep putting on tire shine when you know the dirt will be all over the tires in seconds.

i love how when anyone gets a trx, their first line of defense is "sorry you cant afford it" "you cant handle all this power"

you think ford has quality control and reliability issues? lol good luck

this isnt an airport, there's no need to announce your departure..

Every manufacturer has its issues. I’ve been a Dodge/Ram guy since 2004. The only Ford I’ve owned in that period was my 2020 Raptor. In 18 years only one truck has left me stranded. Here’s my Raptor after it nuked the starter. So in my experience, Dodge/Ram has been more reliable. The same might not be said for you.

I like to play “pavement queen” from time to time and blend in with all the TRX owners haha
I'm the opposite. My tires are a lost cause. I clean the truck with wash and wax and leave the tires be lol

I test drove a TRX and it definitely rode better then my Gen 2. Sounded a lot better too! But I just can't get past the mpg. The one I drove had 1100 miles on it, showed a lifetime average of 7.7mpg, and with a 1/2 tank of fuel it showed 100 miles of range. By that math I'd get maybe 200 out of a full tank? The interior was nice, but I liked the recaros in my raptor a lot more, and I like having some physical buttons.

I already have my need of 700hp filled with my RS7. 0-60 in under 3 seconds, and I get 25mpg cruising at 85.

If that's a self service car wash in the background, then the good news is your truck was just freshly washed for the arrival of the tow truck. ;)

Didn't happen to get any high-pressure soap / water in the engine bay?

Exactly why I haven’t even bothered with a test drive. Driving 46 miles every day I work would have me at the pump far too often. Lifetime mileage for the raptor as a daily driver is 17.21 which would be so hard to give up for a TRX which maybe would pull double digits for me.

I had a 2012 Gen1 and a 2020 Gen2 Raptor and currently have a 2022 TRX. I am extremely happy with the TRX in all regards however I primarily bought it because I wanted the V8 back. I have driven the Gen3 Raptor and it rides exceptionally well and the interior is an improvement over the Gen2 in my opinion. It is a very nice truck.

Which one you choose comes down to what features are most important to you. Gas mileage is not a major factor to me (although it irritates me to be paying these prices which are not necessary) because I don't have to daily drive my truck. If I had a long daily commute the gas mileage would be of greater importance to me. The fact is both of these trucks are exceptional. I am kind of a dinosaur and I really like the v8 sound and SC whine so I went with the TRX and it has worked out for me. That is not as important to others. I really like the interior and ride of the TRX as well but I am not an off roader so I can't compare that part but it doesn't matter to me.

I don't think there is a wrong choice here, my experience has been these are both Bad Ass trucks.
