I’ve three kiddos too, and had the 4 door dilemma as well. In the the end I told everyone that we have other vehicles everyone can be together in, and the only my favorite can ride in the truck with me!

Was at Sema,boot of ford performance and F150 Light was there.
told me any F150 can be upgrade with FP part at any dealership and lowering kit

AWD/4WD is where it's at for the big power street vehicles.

Are you building the engine or just slapping on the blower and running it?

So curious with the 2 door trucks looks like you don’t get 4A. If it safe to launch these in 4H and all the way through the quarter mile?

You can run 4WD to the top speed of the truck without issue. Just go straight.

First I want to say thank you to y’all for the wealth of knowledge this forum helped me with, but my quest for a powerful ford continues. I wanted an R, but after years of looking I could never find one for MSRP, and that truck is not worth anything over that! I’ve always had the Lightning bug since the 90’s and discovered that Ford will make me one with 100K warranty, instead of that monstrosity they call a Lightning.

This will be a fun build, bone stock XL with 725hp under the hood! It’s a blast so far, I just need to get through break-in.

THAT is an ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT IDEA Daneger!! I'd done a little of those mental gymnastics of what I'd do for my next 'Raptor', and you're doin' it, 5.0 DIY style with a badass warranty to boot! I want a new good ol' fashioned V8 with Raptor suspension! Please keep us updated, because the Raptor world needs to know that we shouldn't be limited by what Ford wants to give us!! For the $100+k for a Raptor R you could build something with mid or long travel that's leaps & bounds BETTER, for less money!! Some big fiberglass front fenders and bedside, and you got a winner! That is a 4x4 right? Can you share your price as pictured, keep a running total of your improvements too? Lets give Ford something to worry about!
