So whats the FASTEST anyone has got a special order Raptor in?

Ordered mine on 12/14/11 dealer told me 6-8weeks. Pretty sure he's full of %&* after reading all of your posts. He told me that he has the VIN# but has not given it to me yet. Also another sign that he's F.O.S!!! I just want my truck!!!

I ordered mine the exact same day as you ArkRaptor. Got an email last week stating my order has been moved to Priority 1 and my build date is the week of Feb 20th, and to expect it 1st week of March. I'm still not 100% sure what Priority 1 is, but I'm excited.

Just called SVT. They gave me a build date of 2/13. Ive been thinking a lot about lights and a new front bumper. Does anyone know how the placement of the frontview camera will be affected by adding lights? Also, any info on the best/brightest lights would be very beneficial.

Yes, if you do not put lights in front of the camera it will work fine.

I ordered mine on 1/16 and dealer told me it was going in as a retail order. Then, yesterday, I emailed him just to see if he could give me any updates on the progress. He replies with "The order has been pulled. There is a rule that in the third week, all retail orders have to be pulled. However, there is a temporary hold for whatever reason - they did not specify. No VIN had been assigned yet."

What does all of that mean???

They told me the same thing about the order being pulled - it took me roughly 5 weeks from order to get a VIN and production date.

Build day

Ford updated status on 1/27/12 build day of 2/13/12.

Road trip to Dearborn planned to be there on that day. Even though I don't know what time of day it's going to be built.[
