What exactly does that mean?

If they asked and were granted a raptor on a allocation date, that tells them if they Order it they will get a vin within that cycle.
cycle runs 4weeks.
if they use them they normally get more to use,if not they may get pushed back a cycle.hope this helps you understand .
ask them if they are allocated a 2012 raptor.

I can call them tomorrow, but off the top of my head he said they have never had one on their lot, nor had ordered one. It's a smaller dealer. Not too big.

If it's a smaller dealer you might end up like me. They sold a couple last year and it took them around 5 months to get them. Mine should be here in a couple of days and it'll be 5 months and a week from order to delivery. Just check up on it, maybe you'll be lucky like some others have!

5 months? Thats absurd. A dealer wants to order a raptor for me on a "priority" order. They hope Ford picks it up. They no longer have allocation. How does that work? should I even bother?

I would ask Randy.
He would be able to give you a definitive answer to your questions.

It's a crap shoot if they do not have allocation.they may get it they may not.
They will list it high priority probably 10 that is just the dealer saying we really want it and set it as retail sold.
