Hello everyone,
Allow me to share the main issue I`ve had with my 2014 ford raptor super crew 6.2 all stock.
It began by the truck simply just not wanting to start, all the sensors came on.
Took it to the dealer , they made me change the ECM , then the TCM, NPSS,Starter and the keys. After about a month and about 4k $ down... They asked me to pick the truck up with a tow truck.... they couldnt find the issue and it was taking space in their shop.
I had the truck taken to a mechanic , which hooked it up to a computer and made it run. Unfortunately The truck felt weak and slow afterwards.
About 7 months after , the truck did it again. Running good turned it off , and refused to turn on again.
Had it taken to a specialist mechanic , made it run and run better. Apparently they had loaded the programming of a normal f150 on it before.
About 2 weeks ago the issue came back , simply wouldnt start and all warning lights on the dash on.
Took it again to the specialist. The ECM was burned litteraly..
Turns out the truck has a Short circuit somewhere, and it happens to be inside the transmission.
Something inside the transmission is causing all this damage.
And it turns out all the parts they made me change in the dealer the first time are good so I just put the original ECM again...

here, on frf
wonder if the lead frame is the cause. i had issues with mine but never had a problem starting. but it did cause an airbag fault, gps stopped working, wouldnt shift right, and loss of power.

That's pretty brutal. Always tempting to just buy an old truck with next to no electronics at all, because this is basically the fate of anybody who owns a modern vehicle; the electronics will fail wether you meticulously maintain them or not

Check your # 27 fuse under the hood. It needs to be relocated and there is a Terminal Kit to do this. WT-56872. It is under $20.00. There is more detailed info on this forum about it. Hopefully that's all it is. Good luck.

I bought mine used and the very next day no-start. Had two bad relays and
the terminals weren't soldered on the fuse 27 mod at the original dealer.
I'm a retired Ford tech and seen voltage drop issues do a lot of damage to electronics.
Wish you well and hope the issue is solved permanently.
