So Long GEN 1 guys/gals

Sadly, it was time to trade my 2013 in with 84,000 miles. It was just a matter of time before some repairs became necessary to the front end and shocks. I was not willing to pay $70k+ for a Gen 2 so I shopped a an F250 Tremor gas and a Power Wagon. The winner is below, as I had the choice of a loaded PW versus a stripped Tremor in my budget. I did switch out the 33s for Toyo 35s right out of the showroom, but the tire cost was worth it, due to the savings on the vehicle.

Uh, congrats? Hope the Dodge Power Wagon works out well for you! Surprised doing some front end work on your Gen 1 was too expensive, but buying a new Dodge truck wasn't.

7 years, it was time for a change and the needed repairs, just made it easier. Also, Ive been wanting a PW for awhile.

Congrats. I was in similar boat about 10 months ago. I did the shocks, tires, steering rack, spark plugs, new rotors/pads and some other fluids. It wasn't cheap, but still cheaper than a new truck. Not getting rid of my Gen 1.

I don't understand really, everybody in the world knows the front end on Dodge pick up trucks are problematic. Hope you got a good one. I know the new owner of that gen 1 will be smiling for years to come.

I went the other way and went from a 2012 Power Wagon to my 2020 Raptor. There’s a ton of support out there for the Power Wagon. I have no doubt you’ll enjoy it.
