It isn't the Prius, they "can" go fast enough, and be driven aggressively, it is the idiots that buy that type of vehicle. For the most part people who buy Prius, Beetles, and Suburus are not "car" people, and therefor are not usually good drivers. I do wish the police would enforce getting slow drivers out of the left lane. (another-words, get the he** out of mt way).
Lots of car people buy Subarus. They make some really fast cars you know. Plenty of people on this forum have experience modding and hooning turbo scoobs.

Shoulda told him that working all your life was the secret and the Raptor is the reward.
Or "Should I have asked how you felt about me getting a Raptor before buying it"?
And about the getting the Prius smug off your truck; Wash, rinse, and repeat.

Was discussing with the local stealership service department and they recommended:

Fels Naptha Laundry Soap and Stain Remover, 3 Pack$10.99Amazon.com

They said you need a stout cleaner and that simple green would just bead off of the Smug.

I’ve been fortunate, I only have to clean off residual Smug from those unwashed peasants who park their silly prius near Lucille. I can only imagine the elbow grease involved in scrubbing off contact Smug.

:facepalm::eek:

That is why I said "for the most part". I was talking about the people not the cars. "Most" people who buy a Raptor don't drive like little old ladies.

I mean... I don’t want to get off on a rant here, but you guys are living large. Try living where you can’t swing a stick without hitting a prius. Between that, and all the high density housing, and overrepresentation of people with licenses only because they really can’t be legally denied them even though they don’t speak a word of English and lots of other bad contributions, and you’ve got a recipe for streets snarled with wannabe hypermilers enforcing their version of road discipline to the consternation of everyone else out there.

You must live up here in the Northwest.

We have the same problem here with subaru drivers and prius drivers.. Think they own the left lane. 10 miles under the speed limit. Don't need to signal. Ever get stuck behind a prius or a suba on an on-ramp when the speed limit is 65 or even 80? ...the vast majority of moron traffic issues I see are caused by those two brand drivers. It's not just me. All my work peers joke and roll eyes about the same thing. Have always speculated that it appears to be a mindset type of personality thing with drivers of these cars.

You'd feel right at home here in the greater Seattle area (minus the 75/80 MPH speed limits). I think the dealers must do some kind of d'bag assessment before they allow you to buy one.

They make 2 cars that are adequate and both use a 20 year old engine that is very outdated at this point.

95% of their sales are underpowered trash connected to a vomit inducing CVT transmission.

Spent a lotta time in Seattle as I used to live in Vancouver, WA. Worked in Portland and Seattle. I am sorry you live in such a d-bag infested place now. I refuse to even visit your screwed up city now. Got relatives on Whidbey Island. They don't drive priuses or subs thankfully. Time for you to move to SW Idaho.
