So does your Raptor fit height wise in your garage?

Garage clearance

I am looking at getting a Raptor and would like to make sure it fits the garage. Length and width should fit with some room. However I am concerned about the height. The spec show the raptor height to be 78". I measured the opening of the garage from the concrete to the lowest part of the door which is just shy of 80" so I have less than 2" of clearance.

Have other owners fit the raptor in garages with similiar clearance?

Thanks

Mine fit. Your should as well. My antenna hit the garage entrance so I got a stubby antenna

I live in the city so I did not notice a difference. I know when I was reading reviews some people said there reception was not as good with the stubby. I like mine and have had no issues

Thanks for the responses. Went and looked at a few today. Surprised a dealer near me had 5 2014 raptors on the lot. But only 2 fx4 both in white I really hate white.
Still trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on a raptor. I have need for a truck and 4wd, just no real need for a raptor. Course who really needs a raptor. My wife did not want to admit it but I could tell she liked the raptor better than the fx4 after seeing them in person.

Oh and do you guys think the spec of 78" height is including the antenna? I could care less if it hits in fact that makes a great feeler for parking garages that may be too low.

Mine stopped fitting in the garage after new front shocks.

It will fit. Just had mine raised to mid-perch and it barely touches the rubber on the garage door now. The rubber piece is exactly 77 1/4 inches above the floor. And btw, you don't need any justification to buy a Raptor. I didn't need one, but I'm sure glad I have it.

Also adjust your garage door opener travel to make it raise as high as possible. I got about 2" more of clearance just doing that.
