So can you replace the pre-13 Nav HU or not?

FWIW - the stock 13' and 14' IMO sucks.
I don't like the controls for a bunch of stuff is all thru the screen.

The nav breadcrumbs don't work right on the 13 and 14. Works fine on my 12' (which isn't a Raptor). Have to keep the screen on maps to get the breadcrumbs to work and then they don't track as far, oh and since so much is thru the screen it's too easy to change the screen and not go immediately back to the map, which if you do you'll loose the breadcrumbs.

Hopefully the aftermarket works better, but if you could get a 12' model IMO you'd be better off.

Noah, you would know better than me, but since the Nav unit also controls parts of the climate control, I thought a replacement unit was not going to work. At best, you wouldn't be able to change the climate settings that are only available through the Nav screen, which includes which vents to have air flow out of.

2013 and 2014 you can not replace the screen if you have nav. 2012 and under you can. they are on the touch screen, but also have hard buttons to access. with the new interfaces out, you can get those controls on the aftermarket screen. metra said they were working on something, but that was 6 months ago. no clue how far they have progressed since then.
