Snow Plow receiver

I have a 2019 gen 2 (duh!) screw 802a.
I want to mount a light commercial (72”) snow plow. It calls for a 2” front mount receiver.
My Ford dealer wasn’t sure what/how to do with the skid plate.
Take it on and off every time?
What has anyone else done?
What plow/receiver worked for you?

a truck has to do what a truck has to do
seriously though, i think the transmission is well suited and the low gears should be fine.
assuming i can mount a front receiver by simply removing skid plate (i have a pneumatic wrench), what’s the harm?

You say it's just your driveway but plowing snow is terrible for a truck and will tear it up in short order. Use a shovel or get a push snow blower.

It's a very good idea. I have a colleague at my job that decided to mount a snow plow on his Raptor. We work in the forest as foresters. Once there was a strong snowfall and we needed to wait for a tractor to clean the road before going home. The tractor cleaned almost all the road but near the point we were, he got stucked in the mud. So our colleague decided to help the tractor with his Raptor and went through those big piles of snow and helped the tractor to get out from the snow. Our boss proposed him to clean the road with his car.
