Im gonna throw up an idea for organization for next years run before i forget. I had it on the way home and if i wait, itll be gone with the wind.

For groups, I suggest picking the group leaders and chase vehicles. Then having everyone sign up and assigning truck numbers per group regardless of registration number. Also having the lead vehicle not have a number, nor the chase.

IE.

Yukonjoe - Delta L (sticker would read DL)
truck - D1
Truck- D2
Etc etc.
JJ - D9
Huck31 - Delta chase (DC)

Also each group have some sort of high vis coloring system, blaze orange, green, etc by group thats easy to see in low light conditions. And the lead and chase vehicles run a different color (lead and chase same color) Just as the snowball support trucks ran this time.

That way on coms when things are called out for traffic, trucks can relay locations by number and the chase trucks can figure out roughly where the traffic is down the line.

Just an idea, doesnt seem to difficult, might help.

I agree... I know some people didn't understand the importance of calling out oncoming traffic.. Further back in the pack the snow kicked up was causing white out conditions, yes being the lead trucks it wasn't bad. Let me tell you coming around a corner and seeing a county plow in the middle of the road is butt puckering..

Plus, I know I was taking advantage of the snowy turns to drift around... So it was nice knowing there were now cars around the bend..

Huck, thanks for becoming my sweep truck. Not sure how we lost worldtour to team C, but it was nice having you looking at my rear, lol...

I also second the truck numbering. It's a lot easier to remember where people are if they are numbered according to the group, then trying to remember truck 33 is 9 raptors back.

I had the registration list in my truck, and when I did roll call, I had to check them off. With the numbering, it would be easy to know if a truck was missing.

Now that we have some lessons learned, I'm really looking forward to the next one.

Yukon anytime. World tour stopped soon after we left out when charlie got lost and no one could find them.

Ill run chase for you on any run in the future. Id let you lead me anywhere, and i got your ass, In fact i demand it that from now on, any and every run we do, we roll as delta. Yukon joe as delta lead, huck as delta chase, and throw jj in there ahead of me.

We had a great system, redundant navigation that worked flawlessly, stellar coms, and everyone we passed wanted to jump in to delta group.

We should start taking applications for delta group or to be part of the night raptor auxiliary. Actually screw the night raptor auxially, theres not enough room in the night raptor club.

On a side note, I want to help where i can for next year. Ill head up and pre-run with you guys.
