Just started looking into the antenna, I take it we need the Point 1 Baja kit, as the regular Point 1 does not have the power for it.
Yea, I got the one with power. Connects very quickly. I have it double sided taped to a cell phone mount right next to the center speaker.

I've got pics of it posted on here somewhere.

You are correct. However, if you make the mistake of buying just the Point 1, Lowrance does sell a separate kit (Just some additional hardware, the antenna is the same) to make it into a Point 1 Baja.

Got the radio mounted and my mobarmor iPhone mount finally insalled. Still need to get a bracket to bolt the brains of the radio to the back of the cab.

I still need to play with the radio but havent had a chance too. Got 2 channels set though.

Found out two KC 35w HID's pull more than 10 amps on start, so bumped the fuse to 15. Wish they made a slow burn 10amp low profile atm fuse. And three 35w blow the 15amp sometimes on startup so its now a 20amp. Wish I still had all my gadgets as I would love to connect them up and see what the startup pull actually is and for how many milli seconds it lasts. Just cause I am curious like that.

My blue and amber KC covers also arrived today. Do not really like how the KC covers work with the hood mounted spots. The covers leave mount so there is a sizable gap between the face and cover. I assume its to allow air so that they don't melt when used with the Halogen version of the light. But the issue is that the gap makes for light to reelect enough to bleed out the side and be distracting.

Won't be an issue for the ones in the bumper. I might just try some amber tint on the front glass and see how that does.

Ordered a Point 1 GPS unit for the HDS and the starter kit. Was able to get the GPS for 160 shipped and the starter kit for $60 shipped so was a little cheaper than buying the baja unit for $240

Still need to sort out the rear ambers..
