A little closer. Last day supposedly for being in the 30's, after that until we leave for Snoball will be single digits and teens.
Changed out the skid plate, emptied washer fluid and filled with Prestone, loaded the back some and got an oil change and tires rotated. Its coming sooner and snuck up on me.

I'm sure after the first use of the shovels they'll end up in the bed but i thought they looked good up there.
I didn't buy two duratrack spares cause I figured this won't be as dangerous to tires as a traditional raptor event can be, so I say to myself...one spare should be good...famous last words....
I do have my two spare Toyo RTs but they're not the same size as the duratracks....you got me thinking tho...
I hate the milk crate, I enjoy purpose built things and that crate bugs the crap out of me...does it work well, absolutely..bugs the crap out of me anyway!
You will be fine with only the one spare. On this run, it's much more important to have recovery gear, and good shovel and warm/waterproof boots.

Guess they will be the only person to get 2 flats after they leave the second at home!
In that rare instance...there are still another 12 trucks in his group that will all have a spare too. : )
Now if the whole group decides to go off route and drive backwards into a parking garage and over spikes....then your shit out of luck!

The waiting part sucks, I know. I'd head up today if I could.
Use the wait time to re-check your Required and Recommended items list. Make sure washer fluid is topped off, Check tire pressures, Re-torque wheel lugs.
I like to load my bed a week before. That way I have a week to ensure everything is secure. Heck, I've had the chainsaw in there since pre-run, haha.
