For anyone that has been, is there time/place to fly a drone throughout the day? Or do the RA photographers have drones?

Just trying to decide if I should pack it or not.

I wouldn't worry about a drone. They provide a ton of pics, and you wouldnt have much time to fly it other than during the lunch break.

I’m not sure how they work (drones) since I don’t own one but ca t you set them up to “follow you” and I’d think you’d be able to do that as there are points on the trail a d throughout the day that they stop and you’d be able to change out batteries and shit

You can, battery is only good for about 20 minutes at a time, so unless you're stopping and getting out fairly often it'd be kind of hard to do.

What about GoPros? I know they only allow suction cup mounts. Someone posted a cool video of it mounted to the rear sliding glass so you could get a view of the inside of the cab and out all the windows.

Where have some of you mounted yours, front windshield only?

Agree - my wife and I had a blast today. Favorite part was the Baja course at the end - likes it even better than the jumps.

If I were to come back I’d stay downtown and drive to the facility.
For the foodies, I highly recommend Pretty Bird and Red Iguana.
How was your wife able to attend? Did you have to buy two raptors? That was my wife's first question when I told her about RA, "Can I go?" .
