2021 Raptor in lead foot I’m probably going to buy. Previous owner paint matched nearly everything on this truck which I’m going to replace.

These side mirrors, which were unfortunately painted, are lifting really badly from the body. Is there any way to fix this or does anyone know what might be causing this? Is this a common issue? I’m thinking I’ll just JB weld them back in place but that seems like last resort to me. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

forgot to add. they might have tightened it down too much and broke the bolt, in which case it will need to be replaced.
Ahhhh that makes sense! If they’re too tight I assume it would pull the mirror too close to the body causing the trim to flare out like that. It’s doing this on both mirrors so that seems like the most likely cause. Thanks!

I'd bet the thin outer layer of the mirror assembly is warped due to them baking the parts after painting them.
