See, mine goes away in park but not in neutral too. Same symptoms.

Supposedly I will get it Monday or Tuesday and will post if it fixed it and if so, what they did
They still are not done with it…it’s just a joke at this point.

Well, I got my truck back after three weeks. They still can’t figure out another issue and are waiting on more answers from Ford hotline, so I told them to put my truck back together and give it back. It’s still rattling, worse if anything.

I did notice that it’s RPM dependent as FordTech mentioned. 500-600 is the usual idle rpm for my truck, and it rattles at that rpm. If I hold the brake and give it throttle to 700rpm, the rattle goes away. That happens to be the “Park” idle rpm.

I’ll say, I had a 2021 f150 sport with the 3.5lEB, then a 2022 F150 FX4 with the 3.5, and now the raptor.

ALL THREE of the trucks had the same symptoms at idle. Statistically, to say I got lemons just wouldn’t “math-out” lol.

When I spoke to a tech near me that I trust, his words were essentially when they did the auto start/stop deletes, they idle lower to fuel economy and almost “misfire” to save fuel. I don’t even notice it anymore. But if you find out more let us know!

Mine does this and I’m at 11k miles…. I just ignore it now
I have 7600 miles on my truck. 23 model. the rough idle started around 500~600 miles and more often as i got more milage on my truck. One time it was so bad at the red light, inside of water bottle was making mini waves. I took a video, so i can show it to the service center.

After installing the Cobb CAI, so far i have not had the rough idle. fingers crossed.
The original air filter at 7500 miles with some Pismo Dune sand.

All new F150 since 2021 idle with that misfire issue, not enough to set a CEL on. But usually have the misfire under first 1000 revs code in the DTC reports. I havent come across one truck that doesnt do that brand new..may be over time they go away I dont know, its annoying to spend a lot for these trucks to have such issues, btw I work in a ford dealership.
