So..... the best option was to purchase in person from the closest stealership. $133, and most likely a week for them to receive it.
Because I'm in the Hi Dez, off the beaten path, shipping is always risky since online retailers cannot guarantee who the shipper will be. If I give them my physical address, and they use USPS, the post office assigned to my area (which is 30mi round trip) doesn't drive out here, and the package gets returned.... eventually. If the retailers choose FedEx or UPS, they can hand it off to the USPS for "last mile" delivery... at that office that doesn't deliver off the highway). If I specify my PO box (in the closest post office to me, 20mi round trip), then I have to go in during their office hours, because it won't fit in my PObox. That local office used to have 24/7 access to the lobby, & your PO boxes, until people started sleeping inside.
I went in at 5:45am one day, with Shamus, (my 50lb 4yo maniac husky, on a short leash), and we encountered some crusty kid passed out by the mailboxes. He went from confrontational to frightened in a heartbeat. I'll never know what that kid was planning to do, but his llizard brain took over instead.
