Today's project: figuring out how to get 325ft/lbs on the new steering rack bolts with an aching wrist.
#GettingOldIsn'tForSissies
If my skinny arse can do the shocks by myself you will be fine TD. That 405lbs at the shock bolt never heard the click at my house, lol. I think I hit 365-370 and thought who the F really is using a four foot torque wrench like me?! I then patted myself on the back and considered it good enough. However, on your once in a lifetime part I would hit the torque mark even if it meant getting the ex-wife to come sit on the end of the torque wrench! Glad I pulled the pin on the grenade years ago.

I'm looking at the Milwaukee 12V "Stubby" 1/2" drive impact wrench right now. Small size, up to 550ft/lb torque, and I'm already hooked to their 12V tool sets.

"1 step forward, 2 steps back".

I nicked a Rt Frt brake line while cutting off a tab; ordering a replacement hard line that runs from the ABS sensor (on the D-side), then mounts on the rear of the steering crossmember, to the Right Front hose.

I think this is the correct part number below. (The "Raptor Tax" is about $32 compared to a regular F150).
