No. Once it is foamed, then I use a wash pad (or the new Wash Wedge) to clean the paint. The foam cannon just gets a lot of soap onto the paint, making it safer and saving time, since you don't have to keep going to the bucket for more soap.
Truth be told, laying on a full white coat of foam was for the pic. The foam only hangs for a few minutes, so I typically foam three times. The first foaming is the hood, roof and windows, then I use the pad or Wedge and rinse it in a bucket of clean water as needed. Second, I foam and wash the middle sections, basically between the windows and the rockers. The last foam application is on the rockers and bumpers, saving them for last since those areas are the dirtiest.

And the new Wash Wedge:

Hey nice truck. Looks like mine.
Dude, this is a lot easier than i imagined it would be (or maybe you just make it seem easy lol). But i just got back from the car wash and thats an 1 hour long process, not that its a big deal but still. And at the car wash you have those hoses flopping around and smacking into everything. I am just getting annoyed with it, and this seems like a logical next move, cleaning the truck at home. Now, would you suggest the Wash Wedge over the Adams car wash pad? Got any tips for getting started? My shopping cart on Adams has, a Jumbo Plush Microfiber Towel, a gallon of Adams Car Wash Shampoo, and an Adams Foam Gun, anything i should add? This Memorial Day sale is the time to buy! Thanks!
