Maybe they won't rub once you go mid perch.

Actually I am already set on mid perch... The ground was not level up front. It just rubs so far right behind the tire on the inside of the grey fenders... Ive heard people shave off a little of it and that fixes the issue. Im looking around now to see if i can find the thread that shows exactly how to do that... Always hate changing things permanently.

Money/feasibility. The Dream Chaser will ride on a conventional (and existing) rocket.

The X-33 is entirely experimental, and was trying to do demonstrate the possibility of doing a single-stage-to-orbit vehicle. This was extremely expensive, as it had to be extremely light weight. It could still be possible, but it's way down the road.
