Mine looked a lot like that for awhile. Then I finally got brave enough to take apart the dash and hide a few things.
You mounted your radar detector exactly like I did.
I put my radio on the side of my console
And I swapped my lowrance for and iPad mini.

I hate taking apart the dash, because I always lose a screw somewhere, and the damn thing will rattle. But I got lucky this time.

Okay...
First off these are for a specific purpose.. Holding my fat ass in the seat at TRR without strangling me like OEM seatbelts did last year.
Second all this idea came from someone else, I can not take credit for it.
Third, i understand the risks and possible issues that may arise by using harnesses without a full cage installed, I fully accept and acknowledge them.

Eyebolts mounted to the seat track, and using the mounting point for the LATCH system top tether.

Due to legal and liability type issues that may arise from an install like this. I am hesitant to post specific install instructions or details. Call me paranoid or whatever.

I dig it.
It's a good idea.
For me, I'd still use the OEM seat belts.
Just because those look like in a bad situation they might dig into you pretty hardcore.

But I still dig it!
