i dont know some guys had bed installed roof mounts and there was so much glare on their roofs...... i dont see it being as effective in shorter distances... and wouldnt the glare be loss of usable light?

I was wondering about that. just looking at your truck would it work to put a 60 or what ever down by your wipers or would that be glare I'd imagine to. all I have so far is the fogs and would want to be with out them. but I would like the hid head light's at some time. hope someone on the sdbr has some I can check out.

well netix i had one of them on the run with a roof mounted light. You do get some glare but i still like the way it is. I had the windshield mount before and it just had to much of a glare on the windshield itself and was hard to drive with it on. I tried moving it up and down nothing helped. So i went with bed rack. I had the blue four door truck with spare tires in back with wiz1500 most of the run
