Should I purchase a 14 or roll the dice and wait for Ford in 2016?

So here is my dilemma, I currently own a 2010 6.2 Raptor Scab. I really want a screw, I have 4 kids and the rear doors are getting extremely annoying getting the kids in and out plus its a tight fit with the two car seats. I'm not sure if I should upgrade to a 14 screw or wait and see if and when the new raptor comes out. My worry is fords engine choice for the new raptor and time frame on a release of the new model.

If you want it now i would buy a 14.

There is no guarantee there will be one in 16, 17, or 18. and i believe the order banks close in early may. If not sooner since the line has to change over for the new build.

I wouldn't roll those dice. Too many variables involved. At least if you got one now you know what your getting.
That's what I would do..... YMMV.

Buy one now, then bet on Ford dropping an ecoboost into the 2016 Raptor, maybe it looses some of it's greatness of the 6.2, and yours goes up in value...

maybe.

Get the '14. I haven't seen anything I'd consider and improvement. Having said that, I'm the guy who never wants to buy the last generation when the next one is right around the corner. But, I'm also hesitant to buy a brand new vehicle the first year. I made that mistake with a 2004 BMW 750i (E65 generation). Tons of issues on a new platform.

Buy now is safe. These should hold their value pretty well if you decide to get a 2016 if they have a Raptor then.
