Should I do it? Ram vs Raptor...deal inside

In my state, there is also a tax advantage, meaning you don’t pay any sales tax on the value of your trade in. So pretty much, you wouldn’t pay tax on 44k of the Raptor, it all states do that, but Ohio does, it will make up for losses in value for sure.

If your end game is to get a bad ass truck, then buy the raptor, finance all of it at 0% and have them cut you a check for the 44k for your toy. I Did this back in March when I bought mine.....

There have been a lot of great points on here and if you take everything into account I think you are getting a great deal. If you’re gonna do it don’t wait to long. I’ve seen vehicles sell hours after I looked at them.

from a salesman I would expect same thing they offered before maybe $500 more off. Skip the salesman and go strait to the guy behind the counter that authorizes deals and give him your numbers that you will buy the raptor for and want for the dodge. if they say no then say thanks and leave so you dont waste your Saturday up there going back n forth. Probably get a call on Monday again if they tell you they cant do it today.

I'm going to shoot for $47K for Ram and $7K off of MSRP of Raptor. See how close to that I can get. That's about another $5K from where we were 10 days ago. "Crazy deals" has to be more than $500. I've walked out once, not scared to do again lol. I'm not one to go back and forth 100 times.

Seems like a fair offer. I’m sure you knew buying a dealer lifted truck for 10k add on was a bad idea. You paid way too much for the add ons and there’s no way to not eat it. Good luck with whichever route you take.

There's plenty of trucks man....I don't NEED to do anything. I believe they are willing to sweeten the deal. We should see...
