I like TFL too but I don’t think they’re impartial in any way. They have a lot of paid content and recently are not on good terms with Ford. I’m sure they’ll pay them back by hyping up the TRX.

While pay back may give good feels to those guys, it would kill their business to do that. As pointed out they are running a business where people are trusting them to be impartial and get information it's hard to find elsewhere. I would say that they need to try and get back into the good graces with Ford, since they are still the highest selling truck. However, I don't think it really matters. With the speed of information these days, and everyone's got a camera, they are likely to get better information sooner from random spy photos then they are from officially released info from Ford. Where it does hurt them is that Ford isn't going to let them test drive vehicles that have been released yet, as they will other media sources, but it's questionable whether that's going to drive clicks as much as putting out info Ford has not yet blessed for public consumption.

Well for years BMW built some of the best cars on the road.
If you looked at most of their reviews of BMWs, all the other comparison cars lost due to some arbitrary score of preference or feel or some other state that was up to the judging or scoring. Thinks like feel or look or something that wasn't stat or fact based. I don't know if they still do that but it was that's how it was in the 90's when I stopped reading it.

Really OT, but the chatter about the BMWs being "Junk". Drive the M8 Competition and get back with me on that.

Now back to the regularly scheduled TRX thread.

hmmm didnt Roundel ( BMW CCA magazine) basically just say its REALLY fast but has no soul? or something like that? I am not saying the new one are junk ( I own a 2020) they just don't own it like they used to.

and its $133,000 to start.

funny found this in a review: One criticism of the two-door M8 Coupe is that it looks too much like a Ford Mustang.

It sure feels like it has soul to me (I am not a pavement racer though). You are correct in the assertion the BMWs don't own it like they used to. The depreciation alone is staggering on the cars. But I feel they still build a great car and are really enjoyable to drive. That is me though.
