Shipping/Delivery Date

IMHO, everything still points to November deliverys. The facebook post, although apparently informed and appreciated, is stating the obvious. In general the "launch date" or whats the term used "saleable unit(s)" probably is the term used when everythings lined up and approved by all the funtional teams resposnible for delievring product to market. Ford may have been marching to a Nov. 1 "Final program approval" all along. Things we know for sure; they are coming in November according to public statements, and we will know soon enough.

But really just a WAT.

Don't want to rain on your parade, but the below quote came from the facebook raptor page by Jorge who has contacts at the factory.

'sorry to break it to you, but not one single customer Raptor has left DTP. The Raptor has not been approved as sellable unit. All vins are still at the plant level (confirmed this afternoon)'

I was just going by what Ford Service had told me.

It's good to know.

No Delivery Date

Build Date October 12th, still listed as "in Production" from both Ford social and Ford Owner Chat. Unable to provide a delivery date as of yesterday. So the truck is sitting in Dearborn for 2 weeks waiting for......?????

Mine was built last week. I don't think anyone has gotten theirs (chime in if I'm wrong). I assume all those built Raptors are sitting in Dearborn at the plant awaiting Ford's approve for their sale.

I have no personal connections, but I talked to an exec who was driving one (in my neighborhood) with manufacturers plates back in June. At that time, he said not to expect them before Thanksgiving.

Now that so many are built already, I image we'll see them sooner than Thanksgiving (how many built trucks do they have just sitting in the parking lot of the plant?), but not until they are released.

Mines is built it had an original eta to deal on nov 14 then switched to the 12th then the 7th now it's eta is for nov 1st ...,so guess I'll see what happens

I sent Ford Service a message on FB, and my order is still yet to be pulled.

Me being a Chevrolet car guy, and a Ford truck guy...this ****** me off that I have to wait and then pay sticker for this damned thing.
