I scanned the forum and saw no topics for the Gen 2s, has anyone had any issues w/ their rear camera freezing up in-use? This issue started off random while parallel parking  back in the summer, but has been getting more frequent since. Rear view cam will engage when put into reverse, then the feed freezes and has to be reset by shifting back into park, and back into reverse.

I do have the Autotech screen, but it has been running flawlessly and this seems to me to be an issue between the camera and computer (or a connector in-between).

I had intermittent rear camera issues and then lost parking cams/360. Ended up needed a new IPMB module, dash mounted camera button and the 360 calibration using the "barcode" mats.

Hey buddy! I know this post is a year old but I encountered the same issue while using the autotech screen so I wanted to give you and anyone else a fix to this.

If you’re like me, you went into the factory settings on your new fancy screen and wanted to goof around with everything. While doing so you probably changed your image quality from 8bit to 6bit thinking it said 16bit.

The ford screen modules can’t read 6bit. You need to put it back to 8bit. Let it save and reboot. You should be good to go.

Some other settings I tweaked to speed up the response is disable antenna power and RDS. Leave factory amp activated.

Hope this helps.
