Im getting some insane quotes on shipping a Raptor from Tulsa or Wilmington to Tucson.

Reindeer wants $2,200 from Tulsa to Tucson (1,000 miles)
CorsiaLogistics wants $1,800

I shipped an SRT Jeep from Tucson to Nashville for $795 2 years ago and my Hellcat from Tucson to Nashville for $750 through AutoGo Transport. They are saying the Raptor is to wide for an standard open carrier.

Submitted a request on UShip for bids but anyone have recommendations?

Yes, Raptor width is an issue. The typical bids for transport from Iowa to Oregon (1960 miles) 14 months ago was $1800 to $2200. I found a shipper in Oregon that did it for $1400. It was a single vehicle 5th wheel trailer behind a dually Dodge.

Funny, how do the trucks get to the dealership? Air dropped out the back of a C-130?

No width issues when I had the truck open shipped from a dealer in Orlando, Florida to Tucson, Arizona in January of this year. I paid $1,400 but the truck arrived with a busted windshield, so I can't make a recommendation. However, one of the other shippers I received a quote from was Montway Auto Transport for $1,300.

It largely seems to just be subcontracted out to the same pool of independent owner/operators regardless of the 'shipping company' so I would recommend going with the lowest rate you come across (unless of course you're willing to pony up for a white glove service that possesses its own fleet of trucks and trailers).

I put the bid request in UBid and actually had several companies that could ship it from $1,000 to $1,300 so there are cheaper options. I might have found one in Texas and its only 600 miles away so working on that deal now and might as well make it a road trip

We'll have to meet up as soon as I get mine!

$1,000 to $1,300 sounds quite a bit more reasonable.

I wish you the best of luck in your hunt, will buy you a celebratory beer once it gets here!

I had a company ship mine from Dallas Fort Worth, Texas to San Francisco, CA for $1400. I believe it was Webster Transportation or something like that? That was over 2 years ago so I don’t really remember the name
