Ended up with Jim from Trico Long Distance. Picking up this week, fingers crossed.

Thanks for everyone’s input/guidance. One thing I learned is that every shipping broker seems to work with the same “pool” of truckers. By the time I called the 5th broker, they already saw my request for transfer was being bid/worked on by other brokers.

You need to find a few that take it end to end on their own truck - I think Ply is one of them

Did you try United Road Service? Or DAS dependable auto shippers? I used to work for URS back in the day they might be worth trying.

My brother is going through the same thing. The truck is sitting at a Ford dealer in Mississippi ready to be shipped to SoCal since 11/1. The broker has been unable to find a driver.

Similar issue, tried to get one from AL to CT, waited 3 weeks before I just drove myself

^ have fun! shipping a car is a pain in the ass especially far like you were trying to do.

I shipped my gtr to Atlanta a few years back for a car event..... getting it there no problem but it took the guy an extra 3 weeks to bring it back home. car shipping is lame!
