I might have a pic or two of Tizz getting after it. Let me see here...

How about the sledge hammer practice swing pics or flat out breaking the sledge hammer?

I'm building a reputation around that shop to break almost every tool i get my hands on. :snoopfacepalm:

Nothing exciting. Just cutting it up into smaller pieces so it can be scrapped.

Sorry for the delay on pics guys and gals. I finally got around to welding up the cage, made a few cosmetic gussets and built the rear tire carrier. I still need to relocate the shock tabs higher on the rear end, make my shackles and continue to gusset the frame in all the weak spots.

This weekend I plan on notching the rear section, plating it in and make all the final touches I need to for the rear. Once that is done, and all the shock mounts are made, we will start on building the interior cage.

Front lower control arm mount doublers on all four corners.

Thanks Pat.

I personally hate Mexico. Last time I was in San Felipe my buddy got mugged outside of Rockadiles. I'm sure deep down in Cabo and resort style places are nice, but with my luck, I'll get locked up for looking at a Federally wrong.

Give me a call on my cell tomorrow and we'll get you all taken care of.

Looks good!
Obviously it's not done and I'm sure there's a reason why, but I've got 2 questions for you, why the yellow dead tube? Why not run it like I have in red?

Other ? is why spring over and not under?

Long time no talk Brian,

When I first started to design it I was actually going to lay it out like you drew it in red, and because it's only going to be holding a single shock and not a C/O I went for more of a look thing. When it's all done and gusseted it should hold just fine, but ya never know till you beat on it. I will be running a bump as well so as long as I don't screw up the geometry to bad, that should take the vast majority of full bump compression.

With regards to spring under vs over. Honestly I'm only going to be running our dual shock setup in the front so I didn't see the need for any more than 16-18 in the rear. I really think that coupled with the new front setup should work pretty good. In the end, I want a setup that we can possibly look at mass producing with more of a bolt in bedcage type setup, but take away the same travel figures that I will have. So I figured why not make my truck the Ginny pig prototype and see what happens.
