Long time no talk Brian,

When I first started to design it I was actually going to lay it out like you drew it in red, and because it's only going to be holding a single shock and not a C/O I went for more of a look thing. When it's all done and gusseted it should hold just fine, but ya never know till you beat on it. I will be running a bump as well so as long as I don't screw up the geometry to bad, that should take the vast majority of full bump compression.

With regards to spring under vs over. Honestly I'm only going to be running our dual shock setup in the front so I didn't see the need for any more than 16-18 in the rear. I really think that coupled with the new front setup should work pretty good. In the end, I want a setup that we can possibly look at mass producing with more of a bolt in bedcage type setup, but take away the same travel figures that I will have. So I figured why not make my truck the Ginny pig prototype and see what happens.

I'll have to stop by the shop one day and say what's up!

I kinda figured you were building this to mass produce them, it only makes sense and it will likely sell pretty well

For sure, and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. I'm gonna need all the help I can get to finish this thing by the TRR.

It's gonna be tight, but I think I can make it.

Holy Chromalloy Batman, did I miss something or are you starting with a brand new frame?

New frame my man. The old one will become a rolling display for trade shows. I was debating if I should go E63 style and build the cage out of PVC in your honor:cheers:

See ya this week.

It was ABS, lol :boxing:
Crazy how busy I have been with no F'n job. Installing front exterior door tomorrow in one of the rental homes, got the racks on the Raptor and loaded up with tools.

What are you doing typing, its only 11:00 , your burning moonlight, get back to work!

Looks good Jarrett. Can't wait to see the final product. I still plan on bringing you my truck for a bedcage (along with other goodies) once I return from deployment. So in the meantime I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
