I've never seen a Red Line product on the shelf, and have never seen Royal Purple motor oil on the shelf.

something to think about is cold pour in the winter.... some of these are poor. Mobil appears the best at that.

Nope. Actually Amsoil has been shown to be.

Pennzoil Platinum and Ultra Platinum both have a great cold pour. I’ve had no issues at all running it. Never had rattle once.

Was also curious about how the Shell Gas Truck oil will do.

I think most of the good oils will
Do what we need. Most of us aren’t desert racers. But we all need fast oil flow at start up. Especially when cold.

I've been using Penzoil Platinum also, mine is super quiet

I use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30. Good stuff.

I also use pennzoil ultra platinum and no issues. Never a rattle, so far love it.
