Sti's are slow I mean vs a truck might get you. I would go to a field and do some testing to see what's the best. I review footage w go pros and data logs for my race car and use a dragy too but someone taking a cell video would work mark a start and finish spot.

My previous car was a caged, **** injected, built motor sti that was built for road courses not drag racing and I still ran an 11.6 @121 so I am familiar with them.

I don't even need to go to a field to test, I live on a long straight dirt rd that is not a problem. I can make passes all day! Shit, I actually have a nice jump on my road lol.

the 2016 article I linked quotes him as saying it is stock, but I assume that is BS.

You guys release a 2 step/launch control yet!??!?!?!? lol

Gonna run the current situation here past the tuner and see what he says.

2 step would be bad ass but you can kiss your cats goodbye lol

we all agree all traction control off? No advantage in using baja mode with nannies on to limit, yet allow some wheelspin?

baja mode, all TC and SC turned off. (if you dont turn ALL of the nannies off i.e.- one tap on the tc button, then press and hold for 7 seconds, the truck will pull power just before every shift).

I'd agree with no manual shifting. It sucks and is SUUUUUUUPER laggy/lazy.

Air down to 18-20 PSI. If you don't have traction bars or a torque arm, you'll want one before you're done. I would not want to hit any speeds over 40 mph on 15 psi.

I'd also try throwing some 98 octane in the truck. you'd be amazed how much more timing you can add on these things with 98 or 100 octane race fuel.

a 2 step won't do jack for you and Baja mode will mess with the wastegates to keep you into boost and minimize lag.
