Tailgate Step

One of the reasons I did not order the tailgate step was I did not like the "pole" that used to sit folded down on the on the inside of the tailgate. From your picture it appears to have changed. Is the pole just not there anymore or is it under a cover? Thanks.

Nevermind.....Google helped. See that they changed the design couple years ago.....all I had seen was the old style.

Nevermind.....Google helped. See that they changed the design couple years ago.....all I had seen was the old style.

I ordered my 2011 F150 without the tailgate step. Didn't think it was necessary. I bought my 2014 off the dealers lot and it had the tailgate step whether I wanted it or not. But after using the tailgate step on my 2014 for the last 2+ years, I'll probably never buy another truck without it.

From showroom to Hunt'in cabin, had to pick up a deer on way home This thing is sick. Beats All Expectations and pictures and vids do no justice, its a Beast. After 5 months wait for my early build with no ETA in sight, I flew to Atlanta bought my identical build. Could not be happier. God is good!

Which dealer here in Georgia did you get it from? Did you have to pay above MSRP?

Thanks. Just send dealer email to add to my order since it has not been pulled yet. Now I will be told there is a "commodity constraint" on CF, Forged Wheels and Tailgate Steps. Haha.
