Why not. I want to see a blue light behind the grill to see what it looks like. But this looks like a good mod anyhow if I got the 8,000 lumen so there blue I kill to birds with one stone. Haha

If you have M&R 30" upper light bar, this light will NOT work as is...

^^are you sure it won't work with it? I asked since I mounted a 20" m&r in the upper part the grill as well. Which was based on Birdie's install on his old Raptor.

Yes, even went back and followed birdies instructions... Both m&r light bar and sdhq underhood led are damn near lined up lens to lens...

Okay I believe I see what you are talking about. Does the hood light come with enough wiring where you can mount it below the led bar on a brace?

I know that defeats the purposes of getting the SDHQ mounting plate but I do want to do this mod in the near future.
