Anyone have any ideas on what can be used to remove scuffs on the wheel flares?

Is there a way to buff them out?

I have a couple and they aren't deep but noticeable.

When you run your fingernail over them you can't feel them.

They are matte... Do not polish them. If you polish you will have a very smooth, polished spot that stands out far more than the original scratch. Ask me how I know!

Yup. I took some ScratchX to a small scuff that I didn't notice during delivery of my new truck last week. You can't fix stupid. I have a new flare on order for pickup tomorrow. Paying the stupid tax of $230.

Do not take any kind of polish or scratch remover to your fender flares.

That’s good to know. Thanks for letting us know.

What’s the best thing to use if polish or rubbing compound makes it shiny?

I can think of a few things. A new fender flair, Linex them or paint body color. I'd probably go for painting body color. I've seen pics of a few and they look good IMO.

In terms of rubbing out minor scratches on Matte paint that’s all you can do ?
