How to download new tune?

I have had the SVC tune v1 for awhile and they sent the V2 for me to load. I tried to do it today and I am lost in the process. So far, I put the truck back to stock, and downloaded the sct updater. Then, I start the SCT program, then connect handheld to computer. Jeff said I needed a firmware update, and I tried that in program. None of the options are what I have, so can't get firmware. I tried to just load my new program to handheld, but handheld isn't recognized. I am lost. Any help?

Even if I go to auto check for updates in sct program, it doesn't recognize device. How do I get these things to talk to each other? This is frustrating!!!

Need emergency help on tune download

I posted over in the 6.2L engine forum, but no response. I am dead in the water on getting my SVC tune uploaded to my handheld. Device is updated, but sct program doesn't recognize device to download the tune to. How do I fix this? I am going from my SVC V1 to SVC V2... Stuck.

All 207 files updated. Firmware updated. Now, in the sct program, I still can't get it to recognize the handheld to swap the emailed tune to it. Any thoughts? I am absolutely pulling my hair out. This is not fun.

This is an absolute disaster. I uninstalled sct software from computer since it never let me put the sct serial number in. I reinstall from sct page with my handheld plugged in and the sct install errors out now. Still put on my desktop, but it still doesn't recognize anything.

SVC Jeff - any ideas? I emailed, but don't have anything back. I am afraid that this has now screwed up the handheld and now I have nothing. This was why I was scared to update to V2.

I am in my device manager screen and see the sct mb103. Try to update and it fails... says the itsxdevice file cannot be found. I have the sct program installed, but still nothing. This is aggravating.

Nope - standard windows 8 environment. Computer is all updated and not missing anything.

Try this, Turn off the WiFi feature in the scanner then go to device manager and remove driver then unplug the scanner.
Reboot the PC, start the SCT software then plug the scanner in.
Don't click "let windows find the best driver for the device" if that pops up. It should work.
I believe having the wifi on and plugging it in is confusing the PC or you plug it in before installing the software.

You don't need to manually enter the serial numbers it should add that all on it's own in the software, when it finds it.
