I got a screw because I have always had a two seater vehicle. If we went anywhere with friends we always had to ride with them. Unfortunately I only trust my own driving. Also we have four dogs and need the extra room in case we need to take the tards somewhere. As far as off road handling is concerned, I do not have any issues with the length of the SCREW. If you know how to drive it is not an issue.

Scab vs Screw for offroad

ok i really didnt want to post this but i couldnt find any answers when i did a search or google.

im wanting to know if there is any advantage to having a Screw for off road use.

im wanting a truck to put a cage in, bedcage, even possibly go as far as a LT kit. is the frame on the Screw any stronger then the Scab. or is the only thing im getting with a Screw is just more room for passangers. because i dont plan on hauling anything or anyone around.

I can't speak to strength but for 99% of what you'll encounter there would be no real difference in 'capability'. The SCREW has a larger tank and rides a bit smoother (longer wheelbase) - in addition to more interior room.
