Bought a 2013 SCrew today :) The extra towing capacity is what really did it.. I was going to be too close to the max with the SCab for comfort.

Need some wise advice here please. I am single so the Scab is probably the way to go. BUT i do like convenience and extra room. My question is, can i fit three grown men in the back seat of a Scab with rifles and some gear for an hour or so if i had to? How much comfortability would there be if any?? With the Scab i really like the fact that i would have the best drivability between the two. Any regrets or wishes from those with a Scab and or those with a Screw??

SCREW---better resale. Most folks like me will not consider a SCAB if they have to have the room. If you do not need the room the SCAB for a hard core off road build up rig.. Just my .02.

^^ people keep saying that regarding resale value, but it certainly does not work that way in my neck of the woods. Quite the opposite. There are only scabs around here and the screws tend to sit on the lot.

They have a better resale value, but I can't imagine it is more than the additional $2900 msrp they sell for new. They might be easier to resell down the road. But I say get whatever you want. I know if you want a Scab, you probably have to order. Since dealers make more profit and there is more demand for the Screw, that's what they are going to have on their lots.

I just wanna make the smartest decicsion possible here since i'd be paying about $3,000 extra in a SCREW! In montana people love SCREWS. So that bothers me a little, if i go with a SCAB can i trade in a year later and still get a bangin deal?? Lot of apprehention here with also not knowing if there will even be a Raptor next year........

I originally ordered a screw as well but I've been having second thoughts. The Raptor (even a supercab) is going to be a bigger vehicle than ones I've had before. The differences (unless I'm missing something) are an additional 12" in length, 10" in second bench legroom, about 200lbs in weight, 10 gallons in fuel capacity, two bigger (and better arranged doors) and almost $3k up front.

The only things I see going into the back seat are groceries, a dog or my lil' brother...so yeah. I'm 6'4" and figure I can handle reaching things around the "suicide" door in the back to load anything if I'm in a parking lot.

I'm bouncing back and forth every day and thinking about changing the order.

I picked up a SCrew, couldn't be happier. I might have picked up a SCab if one was available, but I can't complain about the extra room.

Slightly better gas milage in the Scab and extra money for mods, and i still cant make up my mind!!!! I currently own a 1995, 4 cylinder Nissan king-cab\ RICE BURNER. Its been a great first truck! Time to upgrade though!! HOLY SHIT, and what an upgrade this will be........ Im pretty sure the SCAB will be enough. So do i spoil myself with a SCREW??
