Screw Eco-boost. I want 5.8L in next raptor.

Anyone else have thoughts of the shelby 5.8L inside a raptor? I think this should be the next engine. Not an ecoboost.

Plus the atlas concept interior.

Lighten it up a bit with some selective composites on body....



that would force my hand in making some bad financial decisions....

This will not ever happen. There is a reason why these S/C engines are not popular. Will not last very long in a dirty/filthy worst conditions that exist when running at high speed. There has been more than one thread on this subject.

Now put in a high hp N/A motor and I am there!!

Yup like the boss man said any SC engine will eventually tear itself apart from the dust and dirt that's why you'll never see an ecoboost raptor (unless you build one like SDHQ) cause turbos areas e for the street not the dirt it's a very bad bad day if you get dirt in a turbo it destroys them from the inside out!

Naw...when I pop my PreRunner's engine it is getting a TT engine in it. And probably a new transmission.
