Cutting the tint on the outside of the glass is fine as long as you use the proper stainless steel blades. I would definitely go back to the shop and see how cool they are. Definitely sounds like they buggered it up there!

The windows CAN be polished with a buffer just like the paint. The one drawback to that and probably the reason the glass shops said there wasn't a solution is because doing so will change the glass. the glass will develop a "pit" or for lack of a better way to describe it, a crater in the glass that will change how things look when you look through it. I have had scratched in front of the driver on the windshield that I had to leave because polishing them out would have distorted the view through the windshield. But on the side windows with tint, I would guess that it wouldn't be as noticeable as the scratches themselves. Good luck getting it worked out.

Same here. How did you get them to warranty it?

My Raptor was delivered from factory with scratches in the left rear window. Was factory tint so it was in the glass itself. Ford replaced it of course - all I had to do was wait a week for the factory glass to come in.

Maybe this happened to u but u didn't notice then. Mine was pretty noticeable tho. Like someone keyed the glass or something. Just another possible reason.
