Do it yourself, every time.
YES, so true, huge mistake that won't every be repeated. They did my Rhino lining and they did a decent job, everything else they totally screwed up.
Probably have to purchase all of the rubber pieces that come with the RETRAX so I can re-install correctly.

BTW - I like your racks and will be back after my RETRAX is on correctly.

Probably somewhere, but there's not much to see. Retrax covers are very "flat", and our brackets simply fit under the cover and attach to the bed with our No Drill Clips.
If you come up with a compatible bracket that uses the T slot let me know. Last thinly I'm looking to so is lift my rails and add something underneath.

That won't be something we plan on doing, not enough demand, and I would question the strength of that configuration. I would not want a tonneau cover supporting my bed rack unless it was a Diamondback.

Bakflip is the most popular brand of cover to be used with our racks. I have one on my Raptor with our ALUMAX rack.
I’ve been trying to get it to fit and have had no success. Is it possible to contact you directly or get pictures on how you got it to fit? Thanks

the retrax xr is pretty proven with lots of people running racks without issue. the load of a rack and whatever is mounted to it isn't supported my the cover itself in any way. The weight is all on the rails of the truck. the angle of the mounting brackets are all angled to disperse the weight outward on the rails. the only thing I might consider to beef it up is the bed support brackets.

Is anyone running bed supports to help the rear of bedside from flexing? If so what are you guys running? I can't justify spending $300 on some of the one's I've seen when I can weld something up myself for $20

Those things are completely unnecessary, and if you understand how a gusset is designed, you will know that they accomplish nothing.
