It was not someone from icon it was a vendor.

Ok just wanted to make sure because that is not how we roll. I know that is not something we would have said or offered as information why we feel our design is on of the best options available. We do not bash other manufacturers like that. There is in depth info on our website as to how and why the design works. Hopefully that was a personal statement for reasons they chose to add in the conversation.

So who from ICON said this because I find this statement quite interesting.


I found it in a post back when your bump stop kit came out.

The reasoning behind the multi triangulation of your kit. Tried to search back and couldn't find it

I am very interested in the SVC product from the perspective that during hunt season I'll have a trailer with an Argo on it attached to the raptor every day and the bed full with truck drawers and dogs and gear.

Can some one explain how the tow setting works? Does the truck ride on the bump stop all the time when laden with a heavy payload?

And what tools are required to make the adjustments? Doe the tire have to come off?

The svc setup works easily by adjusting the height, by removing 3 bolts, moving the separate bump can (bump holder) down one section (or two depending on where it was previously), then reinstalling the said bolts.

Should take less then 5 min total, no wheels to take off, no jacking up required, just wrenches or socket & ratchet.

As far as ride quality, I cannot give my personal opinions yet, as my kit is coming next week with +3 deavers. But I imagine it should be something like riding on auxiliary airbags (not a bad thing). And depending on the load and what leaf packs your running would depend on if your riding on bumps the entire time.

That helps. Thank you. I have airbags on my f250 and like them. I was avoiding springs for only one reason which is I don't want the rear end lifted up. I like the stock rake. My front is stock perch and the rear stock as well. Thanks again for the answer. Sent from my iPad using Forum Runner

I run deaver +3 with the RPG bumpstop.

You should only hit bumps on major hits. Nothing on daily street driving should come anywhere near the bumps.

I ran my truck without the front sway bar with stock and national springs. When i put the deavers on, they were so responsive i had to connect the sway bar back together cause the body roll was insane.

The deaver's are much more plush and soak up a ton of road hits. With the +3 you'll have a hard time hitting the bumps. I've yet to hit a bump since i installed the springs. I even softened up the compression dampening on the fox's
