Hey all! New member. I put my order in July for a '23, and the dealer has received verification from Ford of my order. I've been reading as many threads as possible, but sounds like this may be a crapshoot. I'm supposedly the 3rd order placed by this dealership, and they got 10 Raptors last year. I have been through enough dealerships to know that this dealership seems to know what they are talking about so I tend to believe them.

The last update I saw says that scheduling begins today. I know that scheduling for my truck may be way down the road (if at all), but I'm curious if some people start receiving emails today or in the near future.

Also, I asked him if he'd heard anything about the limited number of Raptors being built in '23. He said Ford has done that in the past. They claim they will only build a certain number of particular vehicles, but then they end up adding substantially more and more as demand comes in. He gave a few examples.

As far as I know, scheduling was still supposed to begin today. Emails would go out this evening to those who were lucky enough to be one of the first '23s scheduled.

Scheduling dates are pretty random, and they are based on a number of criteria. It seems like 800A orders were filled rather quickly in '21 and '22 because they required fewer chips. But with the removal of that trim level for '23, that obviously won't be a factor this year. It's really going to come down to a handful of options and whether or not the materials required are readily available - tailgate appliqué, pro-power, and moonroof/tailgate are likely the big ones, but it's anyone's guess how those may or may not affect '23 production. 37pp orders may be a different story though. In previous years the 37pp allocations were extremely limited. I don't know whether the addition of the R helps or hurts the non-R 37pp production...? On one hand, they may make more 37s since they could be the majority this year, or they may make fewer non-R 37s because all of the 37pp specific materials are going to the Rs.

In any event, the first scheduling emails should should go out this evening, and then there will be future updates each Thursday evening (except for the weeks where scheduling does not take place).

What did you end up ordering? I ordered a CO 37pp with Pro-Power and NO sunroof/tailgate.

Thank you! That's very informative. I didn't know they'd schedule every Thursday evening.

Congrats on your order, and I hope yours is an early build! I ordered a CO NON-37, with moonroof/tailgate, pro-power, carbon fiber, a couple other options. Fingers crossed it gets built!

Anyone get scheduled today yet?
Perhaps those who have been scheduled in the past can chime in, but I think the emails go out in the evening - since scheduling takes place during the day. That's how it works on the Lincoln side, so it's my assumption it would be the same for Ford. Regardless, I am sure we'll see the lucky 'winners' chime in as soon as they get an email...

Ford has still not released the Production Week Scheduling Information for the week of August 29th. This is highly unusual as the information is always available by late Friday afternoons.
  • Either someone at Ford dropped the ball by not posting at least the initial scheduling information or Ford is just running very late in configuring the scheduling mix and plant schedules as multiple vehicle lines are at or close to "Balance Out" scheduling.
  • The scheduling information will be posted as soon as it's available from Ford.

I thought scheduling emails go out on Thursday
They do, but I think they go out in the evening.

Lincoln schedules on Tuesdays, and those emails usually go out after 7pm (CST). My '21 Raptor was a stock unit at a dealer, and my '22 order didn't get picked up, so I haven't actually ever received a scheduling email from Ford. I'm hoping that changes very soon though - LOL.
