It's not very "punchy" super low bass. It's good for music with higher frequency bass, like rock, country, etc. For rap, I don't really like it. You'd be better off getting a deeper custom fit box with a much more powerful standalone amp. This one was just a clean simple install for relatively cheap (got it on sale for about $175)

I am personally very impressed with the Digital Designs Audio 6.5" Sub and enclosure, it sticks out a little bit from under the rear seat but it is thin enough to barely fit under the seat and it is seriously impressively loud, like I am running 500w rms from an AudioControl 800.1 at 4 ohms to a 6.5" sub and shaking my mirrors loud. By far the best sounding sub I have found for it's size and power handling capability.

I went with Infinity Kappa 1 Speakers on the doors and tweeters plus the Kicker subwoofer used by ford as option equipment for my Sony system and used the Sony Sub as a boat anchor..

Has anyone tried removing the paneling behind the rear seat on a SCREW it seems to “float out” quite a bit in certain areas and was wondering if cut out for the self contained 10” Kicker 46HS10 would allow the seats to be raised.
