I've been saying it and I think this supports it... Just like before there will be a brief hiatus before the next generation. I think there won't be a '21. If they're testing now they'll announce Gen 3 stats and pre-production appearance in Spring '21 and release it toward the end of the year as a '22. We know they've been working on mules with Gen 3 suspension for a while now, so they're probably toward the end of Gen 3 development but it won't be in time for the 2021 model year.

I've been on the fence for a month as to whether I should grab a 2020 801a to get me through for a year or two or just wait for the Gen 3 to be available for order. Not sure this thread is helping me much haha. I need a truck asap so I guess low risk in grabbing a 2020 and then trade in when Gen 3s are in steady production. High class problems.

I would tend to agree. If they’re still testing this late in 2020 it’s doubtful that it will be a 2021 model.

There's more than one Bronco. Not all of them will be released this year.

Except the statement was about release in 2021, not this year. I believe the Bronco Sport is coming out in Dec. 2020, with all the other models coming in 2021.

I'm not trying to say that the Raptor will definitely come out in 2021, I'm saying that if testing today means 2021 Raptor is not possible, then you would have to conclude testing Bronco today means no 2021 Bronco release either.

Since they were also testing the Bronco, that would mean that the Bronco is also doubtful for 2021?

Well there’s rumors of a Bronco Raptor. And I don’t think that’s coming in 2021.

it’s all speculation now and everyone is entitled to their speculative opinion. Mine is that there won’t be a 2021 F150 Raptor. My feelings won’t be hurt if I end up being wrong.

I am loving the truck more than any other vehicle I’ve ever been in. If my opinion means anything, get it now and worry about the Gen 3 later. Wait for the big problems to be ironed out anyway and don’t worry about getting the first model year!

I agree. In fact I went as far as trading in my 2019 Ford Performance Blue Raptor with 20k miles for a 2020 Race Red Raptor just to hold me over until the second year of the GEN 3 production cycle.

Not to mention ADM’s and having enough inventory out in the wild.
